Ariq Ahsan
Hi! My name's Ariq and I'm a composer and audio designer, primarily for video games. I'm from and baesd in Toronto, Ontario but I'm a graduate from Berklee College ofMusic where I majored in Game and Interactive Media Scoring. I've had a life long passion for music and games.
As far as I can remember, I was hearing Bengali classical music in my house that my parents had loved. I started playing the piano at around age 9, and later picked up the euphonium and the trombone. I began playing in all sorts of wind bands, orchestras and big bands which led me to pursue trombone jazz performance at Berkleee College of Music in Boston.

At Berklee, I grew exponentially, meeting all sorts of people and learning how to compose. After swithcing majors a bunch, Berklee opened their game scoring major which I switched into and never looked back. Since then, I've had the opporunity to work on all sorts of projects and collaborations which helped me develop my own unique sound. I specialize in a contemporary hybrid orchestral style but my musical background has given me an extensive knowledge of both jazz and classical composition. Along the way, I've developed skills in both sound design and implementation, allowing me to become a one-stop shop for everything game audio.
